What is DIOXIN?

We know that the pads are sold in the market are made from recycled paper bleached color and dirt through the chlorination of 6 times the bleaching process. The chemicals used to produce a clean white pad but full of chemicals because the bleaching process produces a carcinogenic (cancer-causing substance) called dioxin

Cancer Research Center has classified as a carcinogen DIOXIN first-class man. Medical studies prove that while dioxin in low levels, it is still capable of causing breast cancer, colorectal cancer, endometriosis, ovarian cancer, infertility, miscarriage and other gynecological.

Suppose one application pads = 1 times the dioxin is absorbed. This means that if you start to use pads at the age of 12, and if your age now is 28 years, then you've been absorbing as much as 16 years into the your vagina.

1 dioxin-use  = 1 dioxin
Once period  = 6 day
A day            = 3 pieces of sanitary napkins (maybe even more)
A month        = 18 pieces
A year           = 216 pieces
16 year          = 216 x 16 = 3456 pieces

The new calculation to use pads, not neutrality. Pantyliner are used daily (3 or 4 pieces a day). Just imagine how much dioxin already absorbed?

Studies have also shown that every woman uses about 15,000 pieces of sanitary napkins during his lifetime (about 35 years before menopause).

Why Should Say No to Disposable Pads?

Did you know?

Today's factories produce a variety of products, but they use so many different types of chemical processes for cleaning, blending and binding materials. What's more, to save costs and because of the lack of natural materials such as cotton and other raw materials from the tree, they started using recycled paper and plastic through the bleaching process to produce sanitary napkins and disposable diapers.

From the results of the monitoring of factories producing pads and diapers, they get resources in the form of rum from paper mills that produce paper, and paper mills also produce paper from waste papers were screened for wood pulp mixed with some original (not more than 10%). Because wood pulp is difficult to get, it has to be imported from Europe and the cost is very expensive cause these mills using waste paper to alternative reprocessed. Yes, they use recycled paper bleached and sterile, it just looks white and make you think it is clean but it is not.

Let me ask, do you have symptoms below?

  • Itching
  • Rashes
  • Irritation
  • Discharge
  • Menstrual abnormalities
  • Infection of the vagina
According to the survey, since the disposable pads were produced on a large scale, more than 70% of women experience symptoms above.

During the bleaching process, a highly toxic chemical called 'dioxin' was produced and still remain on paper bleach used to make sanitary napkins and disposable diapers, including tissue paper. Just a simple test, try using tissue paper as a panty liner for a few hours, you will experience irritation because it is not sterile or clean. It just looks pretty white and makes you to think that it is clean but it is not.

If toxic dioxin was touch and enter your vagina next to the cervix and your uterus through the blood and moisture (kuapan), it will build up in and after a few years, it will damage your body. Why do so many women today who suffer from the disease of women as ovarian cysts, infertility, fibroids, cancer? This is one of the causes. It is proven through extensive research that dioxins can cause cancer silent and it took many years for you to actually have the disease.

Use disposable pads contaminated with dioxin can take many years before the symptoms of pelvic inflammation, cancer and many other diseases to emerge. The safest alternative is to use cloth, back to our ancestors who only use cloth during menstruation. Do you hear a lot of women of diseased woman then? Even our grandmothers always wondered why most women today have a wide variety of female problems such as infertility, ovarian cysts, cancer and many more as they rarely hear of women who can not or difficult to conceive of their age.

    Think of your own.

Is the fabric liner or liner Pants?

Liner is used extensively as a layer on top of panties to cover the white and non-accidental urination. Dry liner releases called Flux is the thinnest and most preferred size of all sizes available. It is designed for daily use is suitable for light to heavy vaginal discharge, light menstrual flow, and urine that is not inflicted on those who are troubled. Dry liner Flux larger than usual good disposable liner or liner fabric on the market, it is also longer and cover your private parts makes it more comfortable.

What Cloth Pads?

Cloth pad is an alternative to disposable pads can be reused. Pad fabric is eco-friendly, reusable for years, cost-effective, and have good health benefits. In general it consists of layers of absorbent fabric (such as cotton, organic and synthetic) which serves to absorb the flow of blood during menstruation and childbirth for the delivery.

Does not it smell?

You will be surprised that your blood does not smell disgusting as you think of all this. Our blood is absolutely sterile and clean from the moment it comes out of the vagina. It just smells normal blood is the blood that comes out of any part of the body, such as lesions on the skin surface. The foul smell is actually the result of a chemical reaction between the blood and the chemicals in disposable pads, not from the smell of blood itself.

Is it clean?

Absolutely! Technically, cloth pad is much cleaner than disposable pads because the blood disappeared completely during washing. So it can be reused for years without risk of infection. It is evident when you will not feel itchy when using cloth pads for a long time, unlike disposable pads you will feel uncomfortable and itchy if used in a long time because disposable pads made from recycled paper or paper pulp; containing toxic chemicals and dangerous. When this toxic chemical reacts with blood, it will breed bacteria that can cause vaginal infections and vaginal discharge normal for some women.

How do I use it?

Way to use a cloth pad is very similar to how you wear a disposable pad. Make sure the tip of a wider keypad facing backwards, wrap the wing pad in your pants, and button up both sides of the wing down. The surface of the soft fur (minky) should always touch your private parts, cotton patterned with ribbon loop should be facing down (hidden in the underwear). We recommend that you wear cotton underwear that fit (not too tight, but not too loose) while using cloth pads, as this will help keep the pad is localized and tightly latched on your private parts. It also ensures maximum absorption and prevent your blood from running down the side. The great thing about cloth pads are not as disposable pads that stick in your underwear and can not be changed when fixed, you can change the position of the pad forwards or backwards anytime soon for maximum comfort.

Ever find it to be leaked?

If you use the right size for the right amount of time to suit your flow, it should not leak. Snowdrop cloth pads are more absorbent than disposable pads because of the ability of anti-bacterial microfibers can absorb up to four times its original weight. All cloth pads and liners are equipped with a layer of waterproof PU coated nylon with good air circulation to prevent leaks. However, if you use them too long, cloth pads can also be full and can not accommodate the excess moisture away from the next moisture can seep into the pad around and be in underwear, but usually does not happen because normally before full, we will turn to the pad clean. Average consumption per pad is between 2-4 hours for heavy flow 3-5 hours for medium and especially for light flow.

In general it consists of layers of absorbent fabric (such as cotton, organic and synthetic) which serves to absorb the flow of blood during menstruation and childbirth for the delivery. Why say no to disposable pads?

Disposable pads are made of wood pulp or recycled paper often. Recycled paper bleached during processing to be white. However, the process of chlorine bleaching agent produces a chemical called dioxin side. Dioxin is a carcinogenic substance, that it can cause cancer. According to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences of the U.S., individuals who were exposed to dioxin levels significantly higher risk of suffering from cancer, barren problems, heart disease and diabetes. Unfortunately, disposable pads contain traces of dioxin from bleaching process.

Which size best suits me?

Choosing the right size is about coverage and menstrual flow. Measure the length of the product (disposable pad or cloth pad brands) you're using, and select the pad or liner with the same length. The width of the front and back are different for each size. Width at the center (wing) of the size of the liner until the pads are the same which is about 2.8 inches when dibutangkan, however, thanks to its great the 2 button adjustable width for all size pad, it can be adjusted to 3.2 inches for greater coverage in the middle or underwear for a wider or bigger. Pad Light Mist is comparable to the size of our Maxi ordinary disposable pads on the market, while medium Dew was very suitable to replace the pad tonight and size are the most preferred for daytime use by customers who have a body comparatively large and heavy flow during today. If you need extra protection for overnight and day, pad Heavy Stream is the right choice because it is long and wide at the back compared to Medium Dew. We call all of our product sizes with the lightest call flow that can accommodate every size. For example, the pad Light Mist is for light to medium flow even if it is called 'Light' means light. Same as Medium Dew, it is suitable for medium to heavy flow but called "Medium" means medium, and similarly for other sizes. Our product range is suitable for all women to have multiple streams including a very heavy flow. For the most appropriate size, we recommend that you try different sizes to get the best size for you. Try our starter kit that includes a variety of sizes, with 2 or 3 liner for a start. However, some women find that they prefer to just 1 or 2 sizes only and only use their size during the menstrual period. It shows the most important to know your own menstrual flow and any time you use it.
